New Website and Christmas offer

New Website

For those who follow me and you haven't noticed already I have a new website. Now it will be more compatible with mobile and tablet devices and easier for me to upload and update.

Also a reshuffle with my website and the different work I do. 

1. Firstly you no longer need to type www.theartyone.co.uk/caricatures to visit my caricatures website as www.TheArtyOne.co.uk is now all my caricature work. What has happened to my illustration work? Well...

2. My illustration work is getting more focus from now on and can be accessed at a new website: www.ArtyMikey.uk

Christmas Offer

CoCoMAD 2017

 Hola Hello!

I was out the country so couldn't make the Bournville Festival this year but I did manage to get booked in and enjoy..

CoCoMAD 2017!

Another busy day for me and thankfully I had my glamorous assistant with me to help because, as always, I was none stop crazy busy!

Wasn't long after setting up that I got my first "muses"

I managed to sell a few animal prints on the day too.

First couple of the day finished!

Was I falling asleep at this point? If so that I need to add to my skills "can draw while asleep".

The Belfry Hotel Bridal Fayre 2017

Hola Hello!

I just want to give a quick and big thank you to those who dropped by my table at the Bridal Fayre yesterday.

I look forward to hearing from those who were interested in booking my caricature services for their wedding entertainment.

Round up of 2016...

 Hola hello,

I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year (for those who don't celebrate either - I hope you managed some much needed rest during the holidays as 2016 was a rough year).

So I had lots happening in 2016. Moving house a few times (once as my home was being sold and another to move in to a place together with my girlfriend), busy with lots of caricature bookings and commissions (some caricatures and some my illustration work).

2017 has started off a little slow as I finish a commission (hoping to upload images of this in the next update), catching up on emails and admin and I still need to organise my 2017 with some new and exciting ideas. ...then there's yet ANOTHER MOVE! This time to a mold and damp free home (we hope).

So to break the "radio silence" I thought I'd give you an update and show some commissions from the end of last year:

Winter Weddings and Christmas Parties

So the Wedding season is over.... or is it? Some people don't go for conventional Spring/Summer Weddings and for for Autumn and Winter Weddings... and still need Wedding Entertainment (even more so as there's less chance of being outside in the nice weather).

Christmas is a time for family.

 Ho ho hola and hello!

If you're like me you'll be looking forward to spending time with the family, opening presents and eating lots of food. ...then there's the Christmas movies and all that jazz...

 I did this commission earlier this year (but thought - what the hell... let's link it with Christmas) and they make great gifts for all year around. From a simple family caricature portrait to one that incorporates places you've been, things you've done or do etc.

TheArtyONE! at CoCoMad Festival

Hola hello!

The weather is warming and Festivals are gearing up. Speaking of which...

I'm back again at the CoCoMad Festival 2015.

Last time I was there was 2013 and am looking forward to pitching up, drawing funny faces and hearing the music they have on this year.
