New Website and Christmas offer

New Website

For those who follow me and you haven't noticed already I have a new website. Now it will be more compatible with mobile and tablet devices and easier for me to upload and update.

Also a reshuffle with my website and the different work I do. 

1. Firstly you no longer need to type www.theartyone.co.uk/caricatures to visit my caricatures website as www.TheArtyOne.co.uk is now all my caricature work. What has happened to my illustration work? Well...

2. My illustration work is getting more focus from now on and can be accessed at a new website: www.ArtyMikey.uk

Christmas Offer

Christmas is coming (the goose is getting fat...) and Christmas parties are getting booked up and organised.  To celebrate the launch of my new website I am putting a Christmas Parties Special Offer HERE (limited availability).

Festival, Charity and Wildlife Park residency

 Hola Hello!

I hope you're all well and enjoying the good weather.

I thought I would update you on what I'll be doing in the next 6 (busy) weeks ahead of me starting with:

Big Family Festival

On 29 & 30 July I shall be at the Big Family Festival at Dunton Hall in Curdworth selling on-the-spot caricatures on the day. If you're planning on going or are looking for a family day out - feel free to drop by.

Birmingham Wildlife and Conservation Park

During August I will be back at the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park drawing on the spot caricatures of people and their favourite animal. 

Cramar Cat Sanctuary and Rescue Open Day

On 20 August 2017 I will be at the Cramar Cat Rescue Sanctuary raising money for the charity by selling on-the-spot caricatures of people and/or their pets. All proceeds will be given to Cramar so come along to the Open Day and get a caricature done and help raise some money. If you're looking to adopt you can also view the cats available on the day. 

My girlfriend and I got out 2 kittens from here (who turned 1 year old on 23 July so technically not kittens any more) and I can tell you first hand how good these people are and how much they care.

CoCoMAD 2017

 Hola Hello!

I was out the country so couldn't make the Bournville Festival this year but I did manage to get booked in and enjoy..

CoCoMAD 2017!

Another busy day for me and thankfully I had my glamorous assistant with me to help because, as always, I was none stop crazy busy!

Wasn't long after setting up that I got my first "muses"

I managed to sell a few animal prints on the day too.

First couple of the day finished!

A recap and thank you

Hola hello!

I hope you had an amazing Easter.

Y'know... I never did get a chocolate Easter egg (or two or six) in the end. I was far too busy at the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park (known locally still as "The Nature Centre") drawing caricatures of the visitors and hiding Animal Art Prints for people to find.

It was a joy to see lots of happy people taking away their caricature featuring their favourite park animal (and sometimes animals from outside the park) and to see the excitement of people hunting out and finding the hidden Animal Art Prints.

You are all amazing people and I hope you come back to visit the park again. On the Sunday I finished my 15 days there I made a short video to thank everyone...

As I left I was told by one of the park supervisors that I was welcome back as they felt I added value to what they do. I need to check my availability during the summer but I might do a couple of weeks in June and/or July. So if you missed out on a caricature and are keen to see me back - watch this space.

Animal Art prints hunt at Birmingham Wildlife Conservation park 2017

 Hola Hello!

Shh... don't look now BUT... the sun seems to be out more!

Sounds like an ideal time to go out somewhere during the Easter holidays... like... say... the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation park!

As an update to my previous news that I will be drawing caricatures of people at the Wildlife Park with their fave animals I'll also be doing an Animal Art Print hunt each day where I hide an Animal Art Print I have made somewhere in the park and visitors can go hunting and finding them. The winners can keep the print and a memento of their day at the park.

Week one of Easter holidays will feature these two prints for you to find.

There will be a total of four prints and I'll update you on the second week's 2 animal prints soon.

TheArtyONE! Wild Easter

 Hola, Hello!

Are you looking for something different to do over Easter? Have you been to the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park?

I have visited many times myself with either friends, family, loved ones and I am never tired of seeing the animals there.

This Easter I shall be at the park offering caricatures of the visitors for £5 per person with their fave animal. A personal souvenir from your fun family day out.
